MERIT TRANSPORTATION IMPLEMENTS SOLUTION FROM TMW SYSTEMS Carrier Deploys TMWSuite to Improve Dispatch Function, Increase Reporting Options
Beachwood, Ohio – Omaha-based Merit Transportation LLC, one of the country’s fastest-growing refrigerated carriers, has selected TMW Systems’ TMWSuite™ as the company’s comprehensive enterprise management software.
Merit Transportation chose TMWSuite to replace an existing software package that provided only limited ability to track drivers’ hours and lacked flexibility in choosing reporting options.
Through TMW’s Visual Dispatch component, Merit controls all dispatch activities from a central application that provides easy access to information for dispatching single or multiple moves. The planning worksheet enables Merit’s dispatchers to match moves with available resources to reduce empty miles, increase asset utilization and improve driver satisfaction.

Merit Transportation has benefited from the multitude of reporting options available through TMWSuite that allow the carrier to analyze more performance factors such as revenue per mile and weight per load. Additionally, the carrier is implementing ResultsNow by TMW™. a web-based, performance monitoring application that will provide the company with real-time revenue, cost and operational data. With ResultsNow, Merit will be able to automatically run pre-scheduled management reports and compare performance versus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are critical to the company’s operation and profitability.
