Increased business leads to adding two executives and 20 associates
Beachwood, Ohio (June 21, 2004) – TMW Systems, the leading developer and integrator of enterprise management software for the trucking industry, has announced that its increase in sales for 2004 is not only meeting its planned growth expectations, but exceeding them as well. “The company has been experiencing consistent growth over the years, however, this year new orders have been coming in at record pace. We have stuck to our core business values throughout and have now positioned ourselves to benefit from the rebounding transportation industry,” says Tom Weisz, president and CEO.

To ensure its ability to service its new and existing customers, as well as maintain its leadership position in the market, TMW has increased its personnel by 20% since January 1, 2004. In addition to the developers and support staff, two strategic positions have been added to TMW’s management team, vice president of systems architecture and director of marketing.
As vice president of systems architecture, Bill Keen will lead the development of TMW’s next generation products, as well as oversee enhancements to the existing product line, including TMWSuite™ and TL2000™. Keen has more than 20 years experience managing large software engineering projects. He most recently served as senior director of software engineering, global product development, for Thomson NETg in Naperville, Ill. “As TMW continues to grow, it is critical that we keep not only an eye on future development, but on quality as well,” says Ken Thompson, TMW chief operating officer. “Bill’s experience will ensure our ability to continue to deliver leading-edge products and services.”
Cindy Nelson has joined TMW as director of marketing. In this position, she will manage all of the company’s marketing activities, including advertising, public relations, direct marketing and lead generation. She will also manage the company’s third-party business partner relationships. Nelson has a 20-year track record in sales and marketing with both Fortune 500 and mid-size technology companies. Immediately prior to TMW, she served as Director of Marketing for CAMP, Inc., a regional manufacturing and technology consulting organization in Cleveland, Ohio. “Cindy’s focus on customer value, combined with her branding expertise, will help take TMW to the next level,” Thompson says.
