Position Purpose:

The Managed Services group of TMW Systems, Inc is looking for a client focused Senior IT Systems Administrator with a consulting background. As a vital member of the Managed Services Group, the ideal candidate will have responsibilities to operate and monitor all aspects of Managed Services offerings, hosted at a third party site, on both Microsoft Windows and IBM Systems I platforms including hardware, networks, databases and security components.  The position will also provide SaaS platform management for TMW Systems, across all operating units and products.  This position includes responsibilities to perform software and system upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning as well as implementing new technologies and designing customer facing solutions.

In addition, the Senior IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for consulting duties related to hosting custom environments as well as Level 3 Systems and Software Customer Support. The Senior IT Systems Administrator will also be tasked with supporting a portion of TMW's Internal desktop and development systems, IT infrastructure and MS Office environment.

The Senior IT Systems Administrator will also be responsible for developing recommendations to continually improve the ASP and office environment, create business justifications, and successfully deploy IT projects on time and in budget.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years managing production SaaS/ASP systems and IT projects
  • 5+ years SaaS/ASP and/or IT experience
  • BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of web services and web delivery technologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of running MS Windows 2003/2008 Server and Active Directory in and SLA driven model Demonstrated knowledge of MS Windows XP, Vista, and 7 Operating Systems desktop support
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Citrix, MS Terminal Services, and virtual desktop environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS SQL 2000/2005/2008 database administrative skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VMware Infrastructure administrative skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of iScsi, SAN and Storage administration
  • Desired Consulting or Systems design background
  • Desired Microsoft Certified Professional
  • Desired knowledge of IBM Systems i and DB2 database experience
  • Desired knowledge of Crystal Reports
  • Demonstrated experience delivering customer focused and results based solutions with the ability to manage and close projects on time and in budget
  • Customer Support Experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience being adaptable and willing to work on varying assignments
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Must be self-motivated and possess excellent communication skills
  • Desire and ability to work independently and as a team member is essential
  • Travel 10%

Physical Requirements
