Crystal Reports Developer

Position Purpose
Responsible for designing, developing and distributing reports written in Crystal Reports that access an IBM DB2 database. Some field support may also be required.
Position Accountabilities
- Responsible for the specification, creation and distribution of reports
- The timeliness of product delivery
- Maintaining his/her own test environment
- Assist development and technical support staff with reporting problems and client reported issues
- Mentor and support team members
- Participate in team meetings
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Crystal Reports v11
- 2+ years of experience with Complex SQL (Dynamic, Stored Procedures and Triggers)
- Ability to read and interpret business requirements and technical documents
- An eye for detail
- Troubleshooting and supporting ERP systems
- Self-starter with strong multitasking ability
- Ability to set up and maintain a test environment
- General familiarity with relational databases
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Prior transportation industry experience

- Relational Database Administration experience
- Payroll and/or accounting experience
Education
- Computer Science degree, diploma or equivalent professional experience.
