ASP NET Software Developer

Position Purpose

Are you ready to work with a growing software development company?  Here's your chance to become part of the nation's leading transportation software developer and implementer.  TMW Systems, Inc. Software Development department is looking for creative, motivated software developers.  As a vital member of the software development team, you will design, develop, optimize and test ASP.NET applications based on Microsoft's .NET platform. The ideal candidate would have several years of accounting and/or finance experience.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor Degree Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience with VB.NET and/or C#
• 3+ years object-oriented programming
• Experience with ASP.NET
• Experience with Silverlight 3
• Experience with MS SQL Server
• Experience in developing financial, AP/AR software
• Familiarity and experience with architectural design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to own projects and work with minimal direction
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Troubleshooting and supporting large applications

Optional Qualifications

• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services or BI
• Experience with Expression Studio
• Web services development
• Relational Database Administration experience
• Mobile Communications development
• Technical writing experience
• Prior transportation industry experience 
•    Experience with one or more of the following:

• §  ADP

  §  Paychex

  §  Intuit (Quickbooks)

  §  Microsoft Dynamics GP (formerly, Great Plains)

Physical Requirements

• Constant and close visual work at desk or computer
• Constant sitting and working at desk
• Frequent verbal and written communication with team and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person
• Frequent lifting of folders, files, binders and other objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent opening and closing of heavy file drawers
• Occasional bending and stooping to pick up boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking and standing
• Occasional driving of automobiles
