• Responsible for the quality of delivered products
• The timeliness of product delivery
• Maintaining his/her own test environment
• Performing testing tasks on in-house software products
• Writing and maintaining test scripts
• Making sure the products meet company standards, design specifications, and are within total quality management limits
• Assist development and technical support staff with software installation problems and client reported issues

Minimum Requirements

• 2 or more years of actual hands on, manual testing experience in a quality assurance role
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, DB backup/restore and basic queries
• Microsoft Windows, Excel and Access
• General knowledge of how relational databases work
• Knowledge of Mercury or other testing tools a plus
• Knowledge of transportation industry preferred
• Quality industry certifications, such as CQIA, also a plus
• Have an eye for detail
• Be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task
• Work independently as well as with a team
• Maintain his/her own test environment with regards to both setup and data maintenance
• Understand and manage multiple sets of source in various test environments
• Must be able to work comfortably in a very fast paced work environment
• Have understanding of building and maintaining source sets and software deployment strongly desired.

• Frequent and close visual work at desk or computer
• Frequent sitting and working at desk
• Frequent verbal and written communication with team and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person.
• Consistent lifting of displays, folders, files, binders and other objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent opening and closing of heavy file drawers
• Frequent walking and standing
• Occasional driving of automobiles
