Essential Job Functions · Train customers (by phone or via email) on any TruckMate EDI Software or specified 3rd party issues they may have · Research and trouble shoot TruckMate technical (hardware, software) issues either by reviewing manuals, discussing with other staff or contacting 3rd party sources · Research required modifications / fixes for use by EDI Programmers · Review all projects put into production for the month and turns over the production information to administration for billing purposes · Gather specifications not already in our specifications library · Set up network communications (LAN / WAN) as necessary · Install EDI & ACE software · Testing with trading partners · Testing of modifications / fixes to the TruckMate code · Assists EDI Programmers as needed · Assists with training of new EDI & ACE Coordinators/Programmers · Delegate certain issues to other group managers when necessary (i.e. Escalated Calls to PM’s) · Work on designated special projects and training classes · Continue improvement of technical knowledge and ability · Troubleshoot accounting issues · Migrate into main-stream development, specializing in EDI and ACE essentials · Experience with the EDI industry, primarily North American ANSI X.12 standards · Experience with database and development tools · Experience with program design · Experience with the trucking industry · Read, write and communicate fluently in English · A team-friendly attitude and a willingness to learn · Excellent communication skills and very popular with our customers · Extremely efficient

Position Purpose
The EDI & ACE Coordinator provides solutions by phone or via email for TMW/Maddocks customer’s questions & issues. The coordinator also works on technical problems relating to hardware and software pertaining to the whole of TruckMate.
