Position Purpose

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience implementing software with external clients, traveling 4 to 5 days per week and working independently.  This role is responsible to identify problems, mediate issues, develop solutions and deliver a course of action while implementing software to our clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and/or supporting software with external clients
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel overnight 4 to 5 days per week
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong ability to translate business issues into systems and operational solutions
  • Time management skills to handle multiple task assignments and prioritize work appropriately
  • Strong leadership and prioritization skills; ability to build consensus and drive decision making; proven ability to work cross-functionally to accomplish objectives
  • Demonstrable ability to learn quickly, and to remain current with rapidly developing software in an ever-changing industry
  • Strong follow-through, with a willingness to take on whatever tasks are needed to complete the job.  Ability to own and manage projects from end to end.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrating the ability to work with customers inside or outside of the company

Education Requirements

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience

Preferences

  • Knowledge of the transportation industry a huge plus
  • Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel via car and airplane consistently
  • Close visual work at desk or computer
  • Sitting and working at desk
  • Excellent frequent verbal and written communication with team and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person and in the form of presentations
  • Frequent lifting of folders, files, binders and other objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Frequent opening and closing of heavy file drawers
  • Bending and stooping to pick up boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent walking and standing

Travel Requirements: 80% to 100%
