TMW’S USER GROUP SETS ATTENDANCE RECORD FOR 19TH STRAIGHT YEAR
725 Attendees Gain Valuable Insight on Improving Profitability

Beachwood, Ohio – TMW Systems, the largest developer and integrator of enterprise management software for the transportation industry, hosted another record-breaking conference with more than 725 attendees from nearly 230 trucking companies based in five different countries at its 19th Annual Client Conference and Vendor Showcase. The sold-out event was held November 6-9, 2005 at the InterContinental Hotel & Conference Center in Cleveland, Ohio. 

“More carriers attended the TMW User Group than any other industry conference this year,” said Tom Weisz, Chairman of TMW Systems. “We think that’s because our event provides attendees with an unparalleled breadth of practical knowledge and tools they need to continue to drive their company’s performance.” 

Weisz provided User Group attendees with insight on how to harness technology to overcome the “Big Four’ challenges that are currently facing carriers: a severe shortage of qualified drivers, record fuel prices, productivity hits from the Hours of Service regulations and the impact of EPA-mandated engine emissions standards. 

In keeping with this year’s theme of “Accelerating the Pace,” TMW also announced the forthcoming introduction of four new products designed to further improve productivity and enhance profitability for carriers and private fleets. These introductions include two solutions to help carriers increase driver satisfaction and enhance retention. 

The TMW Systems Annual Client Conference and Vendor Showcase is a forum for TMW clients to network with fellow users, get answers to their technology questions and drive the future direction of TMW’s product portfolio.

For veteran attendee Ellen Miller, Controller for Merchants 5 Star, the attraction of TMW’s User Group is the timeliness of the information presented. "Even though I've been to User Group for 18 years, I always learn something new," remarked Ellen.
