TMW SYSTEMS REPORTS CONSISTENT GROWTH AND PROFITABILITY THROUGHOUT 2006
Fourth Quarter Software Sales and Record Number of Customer Go-lives Complement Stellar Year.

BEACHWOOD, OH – TMW Systems, the largest provider of enterprise management software designed specifically for the trucking industry, today announces 2006 as a record year for revenues, product releases, new customers, and consecutive quarterly growth.

Fourth quarter revenues increased 32.6% percent compared to the same quarter last year. Forty-three new customers were signed in the fourth quarter, bringing TMW’s customer additions to a record 139 for the year. TMW’s fourth quarter performance contributed to a record set of full year results including a 24.4% percent increase in total revenue over 2005.

Equally impressive are the operational results achieved in 2006. TMW’s professional services team brought a record number of new customers live, and its customer satisfaction survey results again ranked the highest in the industry. TMW also released a record number of new products that address key industry demands such as business intelligence tools, mobile communications, driver management solutions, and more efficient and intelligent dispatch products.

According to David Wangler, TMW Systems president and chief executive officer, “We are very pleased to report continued growth and customer success in the fourth quarter across all three product families – TMWSuite®, TruckMate®, and TL2000®. In today’s competitive marketplace, our existing and new customers are realizing the benefits of deploying our agile and intuitive business solutions to improve their operating efficiencies. The strong new software sales throughout the year are testament to the fact that increasingly more transportation companies are using our products to enhance their operations which in turn allow them to better serve their customers.”

Some of TMW’s newest customers include Transwood, Inc., Carlile Transportation Systems, Tankstar USA, General Transport, and Zimmerman Truck Lines. While these companies represent various industry segments, they all agree TMW is a partner that will make a positive difference to their businesses.

TransWood, Inc., a dry and liquid bulk hauler running 725 units from 36 terminals throughout the Continental US, initiated a search for a new system because of the inflexibility and limited growth potential of its current legacy system. After evaluating several software solutions, TransWood chose TMWSuite for its ability to support bulk operations. "We feel confident in our decision to select TMW Systems. The software will allow us the flexibility to meet our growth objectives and to serve an ever diverse customer base. TMW has shown a dedication to understanding our needs, preparing us, and helping us through our go live. They have shown a strong commitment and vested interest in our success, said Jeff Nikodym, TransWood’s Customer Service Manager.

Carlile Transportation Systems, the largest transportation network in Alaska, serves the LTL, truckload, heavy haul and bulk segments of the industry. Carlile had outgrown its legacy system and selected TMW’s TruckMate solution to posture the company for future growth. After an extensive search, TruckMate was selected because of its ability to meet the needs of Carlile's diverse business requirements. "TMW is a business partner we feel confident will be with us for a very long time," said Gene O'Neal, Carlile's Information Systems Manager. "The combination of the software's scalability and flexibility and our ingenuity spell out a formula for success for many years to come."

Tankstar USA, a 900-truck chemical and dry bulk hauler sought to replace an in-house system because it was becoming too costly to develop. “We wanted to install a real-time system and gain benefits that a commercial system offers. We believe the TMW system we selected has the robust capabilities and real-time functionality that we were looking for. We are confident that TMW will be a valued and trusted business partner as we continue to grow and improve our business,” says Dave Walter, vice-president Bulk Logistics, TankStar USA.

General Transport was looking for ways to improve communication with their customers and drivers, as well as enhance customer service so they turned to TMW for a solution. “TMW’s dispatch and operations functionality, along with its integration capabilities and imaging solution made it a clear choice for us,” says Diane Kalgreen, General Transport’s Chief Financial Officer. “We believe that TMW’s technology will help differentiate General Transport from other carriers its size and that equates to providing increased value to our customers.”

Zimmerman Truck Lines is a 220 van and flatbed truck carrier specializing in dry goods, steel and steel related products. “We became interested in replacing our existing system because our current system lacked the functionality to meet our basic needs as well as be able to efficiently communicate with drivers and dispatch personnel. By partnering with TMW, we are confident we will be able to improve our internal processes, become more streamlined and maintain a steady rate of growth in our company’s external businesses,” says David Wetzler, Dispatch Manager/Special Projects for Zimmerman Truck Lines.
