TMW SYSTEMS RECEIVES ACE CERTIFICATION FROM
U.S. CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AGENCY
Kriska Transportation and Other TMW Customers Implementing Time-Saving Tool

Beachwood, Ohio – TMW Systems Inc., the largest developer and integrator of enterprise management software designed specifically for the trucking industry, is now a certified solution provider for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency’s Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) e-Manifest Program. This commercial trade processing system requires Canadian trucking companies to submit an electronic manifest to the agency prior to shipments reaching the U.S. border.

In conjunction with the CBP certification, TMW has introduced a new ACE integration tool for its TMWSuite^TM enterprise management platform. Developed with firsthand guidance from a group of Canadian TMW customers, TMW’s ACE solution not only transmits the shipment information required by ACE but also enables integrated message control within TMWSuite. The system automatically creates ACE documents with the appropriate data and then routes them to CBP to create a truly seamless integration.

“Our ACE planning tool goes beyond the CBP’s e-manifest compliance regulations for cross-border shipments,” said David Wangler, President and CEO of TMW Systems. “The solution adds real value to the transportation process.”

TMW’s ACE integration tool is currently being implemented at several TMW customer sites, including Kriska Transportation, a 380-unit Canadian truckload carrier that serves North American customers in the food and consumer products business. Kriska will be TMW’s first customer to complete CBP’s certification process scheduled for early next week.

“By using TMW’s ACE integration tool, we expect to decrease the amount of time needed to complete the reporting for each U.S.-bound shipment from 15 minutes to less than a minute,” said David Rienstra, Systems Administrator for Kriska. “Multiply that by the hundreds of cross-border loads that we process each week, and the time savings are enormous.”

TMW will support and continue to enhance this tool as the demand for ACE functionality grows. TMW will also be participating in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency’s first CBP-ACE Expo, scheduled for August 15-17, 2006 in Chicago.
