Position Purpose
You will have the opportunity to work on developing and maintaining Web sites and mission critical Web applications in a fast paced environment. You will be required to work in a collaborative environment with other developers, designers, testers, and client project managers. The TMW software product suite includes a Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 based library of components, that are used to build a client's customized ticket sales web sites. The function of this role will be to design and build customized websites using the components and services provided through VB.Net using ASP.Net and the design of websites for clients. The right candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications with Microsoft .NET technologies and exposure to industry standard graphic design tools. This role is also expected to work with implementation and training teams to consult with clients and provide subject matter expertise on the TMW Suite software package.
Position Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom web sites through the use of proprietary and third-party software
- Assist with estimation and planning activities
- Help identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design
- Assist with deployment of custom web sites into hosted environment and/or client sites
- Assist implementation and training teams as needed
- Support the sales team with subject matter expertise
- Develop sites for search engine optimization
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS or EE from an accredited four-year institution
- 3-5 years experience in web design, development and/or maintenance
- Strong experience in Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0, HTML, JavaScript, SQLServer, IIS required
- Excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail, intimate familiarity with industry web software development standards/best practices CSS, HTML, JavaScript
- SQL Server 2000, 2005 a real plus
